Matthew Wall founded City Pet Care in 2003 to merge his love for animals with an entrepreneurial spirit forged by eight years as a partner and manager for Starbucks Coffee Company.

Matt Wall
A lifelong resident of Pierce County, Matt knows and values the importance of pets and animals in people’s lives. He grew up owning many pets including Airedale Terriers and cats. Matt also owned and showed American Quarter Horses in regional and national competition. These endeavors taught him the value of patience, the virtue and reward of hard work, and the importance of responsibility.
Matt owns and manages City Pet Care from his home in Tacoma.
When he’s not caring for your pets, Matt keeps busy with his own
Boston Terrier, Jackson, and two cats, Lola and Cecil. Matt also
enjoys spending time gardening and traveling. 

Matt is a member of Pet Sitters International, the world’s largest
educational association for professional pet sitters, and the American
Quarter Horse Association.

Heidi Blodgett, a longtime resident of Tacoma, owned and managed her own successful pet sitting business, Vacation Pet Care Gig Harbor, for seven years before selling it in 2003. Heidi's vast knowledge, experience in pet care, and love for all animals is unparalleled. We are very fortunate to have her as part of City Pet Care. Heidi is also a pet owner: two Rottweilers, Yudo and Danke; Great Dane, Lotus; and three cats, Ahi, Sushi, and Jesse.

Nancy Wall is my Mom and a retired Tacoma schoolteacher. She works with us, providing midday dog walking services during the busy spring and summer months. With her attention to detail, you can be assured that your pet and home will be well cared for in your absence. Nancy lives in Tacoma with her Jack Russell Terrier, Mason.
