Matthew Wall founded City Pet Care in 2003 to merge his love for animals with an entrepreneurial spirit forged by eight years working for Starbucks Coffee Company.
A lifelong resident of Pierce County, Matt values the importance of pets in people’s lives. He grew up in a family of animal lovers and, from a young age had many pets including cats and dogs. Matt also competed for many years with Quarter Horses at horse shows along the west coast. These endeavors taught him the value of patience, the virtue and reward of hard work, and the importance of responsibility.
Matt owns and manages City Pet Care from his home in Tacoma. When he’s not caring for your pets, Matt is with his family including a Golden Retriever, Jake, and Terrier mix, Ernie. He also enjoys spending time gardening, cooking, camping, kayaking, hiking, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
